Move. Breathe. Shine.

About

My teaching centers on creating experiences that go beyond a traditional yoga class—spaces where movement, breath, connection, and creativity come together.

I offer specialty workshops designed to help students slow down, connect, and reset. These include a Spring Renewal Yoga & Tea Workshop, which blends seasonal reflection with multiple styles of pranayama and an extended meditation, and an upcoming Heartfelt Connection Yoga Workshop, focused on partner poses, mindful breathing, and meditation to cultivate trust, presence, and connection.

My love of music and dance also shapes my teaching. In addition to yoga, I am certified in Zumba and Aqua Zumba, and I created a fusion class called Cardi-Yo, combining cardio dance with yoga-based strength, mobility, and stretching. This format brings together rhythm, breath, and mindful movement in a way that feels both energizing and grounding.

I discovered yoga while working on an intense Y2K-era startup project in New York City, initially turning to fitness as a way to manage stress. What began as a coping tool became a lifelong practice and source of community. Inspired by my teacher, Elle Kaplan—who studied with David Swenson in the Ashtanga lineage—I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in June 2020 during the pandemic, when yoga became an essential source of grounding and resilience.

Today, I teach multiple classes weekly at gyms, community centers, and parks. I have completed an additional 300 hours of training, logged over 1,000 teaching hours, and am an E-RYT 200 and RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance.

Whether in a workshop or a weekly class, my goal is to create inclusive, welcoming spaces with options for all levels—encouraging students to move with intention, breathe deeply, connect meaningfully, and most importantly, enjoy the practice.
